It’s now been almost a year since we launched a fresh new brand for FirePRO – undoubtably the best network for fire and rescue service communicators in the world (in my entirely biased view).
As such, as we head quickly towards what will hopefully be another hugely successful annual conference, this feels like the perfect time to take another exciting new step.
Said step is the launch of our a completely new website – which replaces the old set up that, whilst set up with nothing other than the best intentions, was well overdue a refresh.
This new platform has been developed by our good friends over at Alive With Ideas, with some input from our brilliant committee, and has lots of cool features.
There’s a document repository where we can host useful files, and a blog section which will allow FirePRO members to share their thoughts and case studies easily.
There’s also your standard ‘About Us’ page which, whilst maybe a bit obvious and basic, will hopefully be extremely useful for anyone who needs to explain what our network does, and stands for, to colleagues or new starters.
Hopefully it goes without saying that, as is the case with all good communication and engagement work, we have tried to build this as a website which fits the needs of our network and our people.
When we launched our new branding last year, we didn’t just introduce a new look and feel, but introduced some key pillars that guide what we do. This website has been developed with that in mind
The best part is, the work has only just begun! Launching this platform is a massive step and something we are really proud of as a committee, but now we have to maintain it, and we can’t do that alone.
